After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Richard began his career in financial services as a Sales Manager for Wells Fargo, a position in which he was charged with creating and implementing training for the 40 branches in his portfolio. Richard has worked in various mortgage positions including management and executive positions for large companies.
From Loan Officer to Branch Manager to Production VP (where he grew ICM into a multi-state lender) to Sr. VP Retail to President has been his journey. Murphy has been a national trainer and speaker since 2015.
As the President of Premier Equity Partners, Richard continues to stay involved in industry matters which he shares while traveling the country teaching mortgage professionals effective sales strategies.
